INFORMATION
CLINIC: K-2
Clinic players (K-2) will practice once a week.
They will have “play days” with other leagues on Saturdays or Sundays. Play days consist of several short scrimmages with the coaches on the field. There is a large focus on the rules and strategy, all in a positive learning environment. This is a great age to start a new sport!
UNIFORMS
Parents/Guardians must purchase uniforms through our Team Store.
Players are required to have a razorback reversible jersey AND a skirt.
The cost for the uniform is $55 - you do not have to purchase a new uniform each season! They should last multiple field hockey seasons.
If the player outgrows or misplaces their uniform, another one must be purchased to participate in the program.
Uniforms need to be worn on game days.
PRACTICES
Our practices will begin mid - late August.
Teams typically practice twice a week and practices are on average 90 minute - dependent on age group.
Teams will practice at Padonia International Elementary School or Dulaney High School.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We are ALWAYS in need of adults who are willing to give their time to help coach or assist in coaching a team.
Adults do not have to have field hockey experience! Volunteers make the season possible and successful. We will be teaching our coaches as well as our players.

GAMES
Games usually start the 2nd Sunday in September and the season concludes by the first weekend in November.
Games will be played on Sunday afternoons.
Home games will be held at Padonia International Elementary School, Dulaney High School, or Meadowood Regional Park.
Away games are played in Baltimore County and other surrounding counties. Some games are played on turf and others on grass.
Specific games schedules are provided by coaches once they are available - usually the first week of September

TEAM REQUESTS
Cockeysville Field Hockey has on average 100 participants in the program each year. Consistent with our mission statement, our goal is to have fun while teaching the girls the game of field hockey and in part to establish teams that are equal in skill level. This is also in agreement with the other Maryland Youth Field Hockey League (MYFHL) teams.
Since creating balanced teams is a priority we will not take requests – regarding previous coaches, carpooling, or friends. The program has no obligation to fulfill any requests and makes no promise in that regard. We emphasize a positive learning environment and always encourage the girls to make new friends, all while enjoying the game of field hockey.

REGISTRATION
K - 2nd Grade: $150.00
3rd - 8th Grade: $160.00
Sibling Discount:
There will be a $5.00 discount for each additional sibling registered
Late Fee:
A late fee will be applied to any registration received after June 30, 2022.
Refund Policy:
No refunds will be issued after July 1, 2022 unless there is a medical note from a doctor. Any refund that is issues will be subject to a $10.00 administrative fee.
